Agente alquilante con propiedades inmunosupresoras. Utilizado de forma sistémica (administración intravenosa) en ciertos cánceres y de forma tópica (gel) en algunos linfomas cutáneos de células T, como la micosis fungoide. 

A fecha de última actualización no encontramos datos publicados sobre su excreción en leche materna.

La ausencia de datos de farmacocinética de este producto no permite predecir su posible excreción en leche materna, por lo que, dada su gran toxicidad, la administración sistémica está completamente contraindicada durante la lactancia.

ADMINISTRACIÓN TÓPICA:

La absorción sistémica de este producto a través de la piel es nula, no detectándose niveles plasmáticos tras su aplicación cutánea prolongada (Querfeld 2021, Recordati 2021), por lo que la administración tópica sería compatible con la lactancia, a condición de no aplicar sobre el pecho y evitar cuidadosamente cualquier contacto del producto con el lactante.
