Compatible

Safe substance and/or breastfeeding is the best option.

A polysaccharide which is extracted from plant cell walls (citrus, apple).
With properties such as emulsifier, stabilizer and adsorbent.
Used as adsorbent intestinal with other compounds (kaolin) in the treatment of diarrhea.

Given its zero bioavailability, which prevents intestinal absorption, it is not excreted in breast milk.
Regarded as a prebiotic, it is part of some breast milk substitutes formulas.

Most gastroenteritis do not require medication: just a good hydration.

Alternatives

We do not have alternatives for Пектин since it is relatively safe.

Suggestions made at e-lactancia are done by APILAM team of health professionals, and are based on updated scientific publications. It is not intended to replace the relationship you have with your doctor but to compound it. The pharmaceutical industry contraindicates breastfeeding, mistakenly and without scientific reasons, in most of the drug data sheets.
