Bronchodilator with similar characteristics to salbutamol and Terbutaline. Use in asthma. Inhaled administration.

At the date of last update we did not find published data on its excretion in breast milk.

Terbutaline, a molecule of the same family, is excreted in negligible quantities in breast milk.

Several medical societies and expert authors consider the use of inhaled bronchodilators safe during lactation due to low maternal serum levels achieved. (Lactmed, Bendien 2024, National Asthma 2004, Nelson 2001, Ellsworth 1994)
