Бензидамина Гидрохлорид

Compatible

Safe product and/or breastfeeding is the best option.

Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory agent that is locally used on skin and in solution for oral application or vaginal douche.

At latest update no published data on excretion into breast milk were found.

Because the small dose used and low absorption of most topical dermatological preparations with limited absorption to plasma, it is unlikely the passage of significant amounts to breast milk. This is true whenever there is not abuse of it since cases of renal impairment after prolonged and excessive administration have been reported.

If used, do not apply on the chest, large areas and for prolonged periods of time to prevent a systemic absorption.

Alternatives

We do not have alternatives for Бензидамина Гидрохлорид since it is relatively safe.

Suggestions made at e-lactancia are done by APILAM team of health professionals, and are based on updated scientific publications. It is not intended to replace the relationship you have with your doctor but to compound it. The pharmaceutical industry contraindicates breastfeeding, mistakenly and without scientific reasons, in most of the drug data sheets.
