Very unsafe. Contraindicated. Use of an alternative or cessation of breastfeeding. Read the Comment.

Bark is used. It contains alkanols, trypertens, phytosterols and flavonoids.
Unproved efficacy on urinary disturbances related to prostatic adenoma. It
lowers Prolactin level and inhibits Prostaglandin synthesis. The Commission
E of German Ministry of Health does not recommend the use of African cherry
tree at all.
