Safe. Compatible. Minimal risk for breastfeeding and infant.

Leaves, flowers and fruits are used. It contains mucilages, peptin, flavonoids, tannins, vitamin C and carotenoids. Traditional use as a diuretic and astringent(Fitoterapia.net). No indication has been approved by the Commission E of the German Ministry of Health. (Blumenthal 1998)

Plant devoid of toxicity (EFSA 2012) and widely consumed in the gastronomy of various regions of the world. Compatible with breastfeeding.

May stain body fluids red-orange.
