Oral Rehydration Solutions

Safe product and/or breastfeeding is the best option.

Oral rehydration products are electrolyte solutions such as sodium chloride and potassium chloride, acidosis correctors (trisodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate), water and glucose. They may also contain sodium phosphate, magnesium citrate, calcium lactate, citric acid or inulin.Oral administration.

All its components are compatible with breastfeeding.

In case of maternal dehydration, fluid intake should be increased to compensate the losses due to breastfeeding (600 to 1,000 ml per day).
