Cryolipolysis

Compatible

Safe substance and/or breastfeeding is the best option.

A non-invasive, non-surgical procedure that applies local cooling to the skin, decomposing the subcutaneous fat and achieving moderate reductions.

It has a low percentage of side effects (Stroumza 2017, Nseir 2017, Lee 2016, Derrick 2015) being safer than liposuction and not altering the blood analysis of fats or liver metabolism (Ingargiola 2015).

Since the last update we have not found published data on its excretion in breast milk.

Since it does not alter the body's metabolism, it does not represent a risk for breastfeeding.

It should not be applied to the breast.

Alternatives

We do not have alternatives for Cryolipolysis since it is relatively safe.

Suggestions made at e-lactancia are done by APILAM team of health professionals, and are based on updated scientific publications. It is not intended to replace the relationship you have with your doctor but to compound it. The pharmaceutical industry contraindicates breastfeeding, mistakenly and without scientific reasons, in most of the drug data sheets.
