Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that degrades, reversibly, connective tissue hyaluronic acid, improving the absorption and dispersion of fluids and drugs (local anesthetics, radiopaque agents...) injected intramuscularly or subcutaneously.
It is a natural product present in many tissues and fluids of the body.
Since the last update we have not found any published data on its excretion in breast milk.
Its high molecular weight makes it unlikely that it will pass into milk in significant amounts.
Due to its protein nature, it is inactivated in the gastrointestinal tract, and is not absorbed, (it has virtually no oral bioavailability), which hinders or prevents its transfer from breastmilk to infant .
